We sit in silence to open to the presence and actions of God within.
We do not sit to obtain anything.
We sit because we love God.
That is it.
God seems to have other plans.
God knows what each one of us needs.
God is patient.
We also need to be patient.
We seem to notice fruits of our silent sits during our non-silent sit times.
Others notice that we have changed.
Others become curious.
They want to learn more about why we seem different.
Silent prayer is a long-term marathon with God.
Keep at it.
Trust the process.
Let me know if I can help.
