Do you spend LOTS OF TIME time taking care of others and neglect to take care of yourself?
Do not forget to take care of yourself!
You NEED to take the time for self-care.
If you do not take care of yourself, you will burn out!
And then you will NOT be able to help anyone.
I suggest a silent prayer practice such as centering prayer.
Better yet, I encourage a twice per day centering prayer practice.
These self-care times will reset, recharge and reconnect you to God.
These self-care times will prepare you for the action you will need to take during the care for others.
Think of it as a sit with God and then God and you partnering as you care for others.
You are never alone.
You sit with God and then walk with God as you take care of others.
Please take the time for this so important self-care time!
