Where are you at with your Centering Prayer practice?
Are you struggling with how to begin?
Take baby steps.
Make it the first thing you do to begin your day.
Start with 5 minutes and work your way up to 20 minutes.
Do you practice once per day?
Great!
Add a second sit.
Take baby steps if needed.
Start with 5 minutes and work your way up to 20 minutes.
Do you have an established practice and wish to go deeper?
Add complementary practices.
Before you go to bed jot down things you are grateful for from the day.
Create affirmation goals, say them before your centering prayer sit and let them go to God.
Let them brew with God while you sit.
Journal your thoughts, goals and things that bother you.
Get them out of your head and on paper.
Listen to the nudges of God as you move your Centering Prayer practice forward.
Trust these nudges.
Remember, Centering Prayer is not a race.
It is a long term marathon with God.
When you open to the presence and actions of God within, God will heal and transform you!
Let me know if I can help.
