God does not talk to me during my silent sit.
Good!
We are not supposed to hear God talk to us during our silent sit.
What?
That’s correct.
Our job is to let go of all thoughts, emotions and physical sensations.
We are to let go and open to the presence and actions of God within.
We might find that we need to let go and open to God over and over and over again.
Good again!
Sometimes the spaces between our thoughts are larger and sometimes it is one thought after another.
During silent prayer God prays in us at a place that is deeper than our thoughts and emotions.
It is during our non-silent times that we notice these prayers that God has prayed in us.
These are the actions or sometimes non-actions that God has prayed in us.
Let me know if I can help.
