“I do not have time for Centering Prayer.”

I will argue you cannot afford to not take the time for Centering Prayer.

Centering Prayer has a way of giving you back time.

Centering Prayer slows you down.

It refreshes and resets you.

It teaches you patience so you know when to act and also when to take no action.

Centering Prayer helps you to discern what it is you should do and then helps you better focus while you do it.

Centering Prayer teaches you to let go of what you should not do so you can focus on what it is you need to do.

(Did you notice that the disposition of letting go during Centering Prayer is meant to be used outside of your practice too?)

When you sit and open to the presence and actions of God within, God seems to grace you with what you need for that very day.

God will help you discern what to focus on today and what to let go of today.

Let the daily silence of Centering Prayer show you the way forward.

Let me know if I can help.
