I talk to a lot of people who tell me they do not love themselves.

They also tell me that God does not love them.

And, they think they let God down often.

They constantly seek God’s approval and at the same time feel that God does not approve of them.

They are stuck in a vicious cycle where they seek approval from others and from God.

They do not know how to get out of this cycle.

They don’t think they will ever get out.

There is good news!

It does not have to be this way.

These are only thoughts and voices we place in our heads and then start to believe.

They are not true!

I have found that when I take the time to sit in silence I can release these voices and their power over me.

I sit in the silence of Centering Prayer twice per day.

When I sit in silence my job is simple.

I let God love me.

I let God hold me.

I let God pray in me.

Yes, God really does pray in me.

And Yes, God is delighted that I have decided to sit with Him.

Why wouldn’t He be!

God loves me and He loves you too.

You are precious and special in His eyes.

Spending time in silent prayer helps to reveal a ‘new belief’ that goes from your mind to your heart.

Let me know if I can help.
