When suddenly, by a light unexpected, we see in ourselves things we did not know were there, and we say “I do,” in that very moment, that willing soul agrees to bring into itself that light, and their life is brought into that light. It’s a true marriage, a true conception, and a true rebirth of the individual who agreed to say “I do” to seeing the truth of themselves.
This stage in an individual’s development is prepared through the process of conscious humility. And in that same moment, we are given a strength that isn’t a power; it’s the willingness to lay myself down in that moment, knowing that this old self cannot be all that I am.
This is the Work of Christmas, the Work of the Divine, and to do it I must understand the blessing in suddenly realizing my poverty of spirit. I thought I was something more, but now I see I’m not what I imagined myself to be. By a light from another kingdom, I’m graced with insight into a character that has no right to steal my life as it has. Then I have the choice to decide if I will remain someone who continues to resist and deflect what I’ve been shown, or if I will begin to do the unthinkable work of seeing myself as I am and allowing the light to change me.
Learn what it means to say “I do.” When brought to see something you’d rather not see in yourself, accept its lesson for your own higher transformation.
You will then receive the seed of rebirth, and have the happiness of at last knowing the very reason for your existence. As you work to fulfill it, you will realize that the Life that gave you that existence gives you everything you need to continue eternally the Work of Christmas.
