One of the rhythms we contend with as we commit to the contemplative life is striking a balance between solitude and community.

We’ve found that so many contemplatives find a community of likeminded people on the spiritual or even interspiritual path to be hard to come by. Some find it in Centering Prayer groups and spiritual formation groups. Others find it during Lenten retreats or coffee with a spiritual director.

But for many, the points of connection seem few and far between.

And so we turn to the online space. Especially during this time of social distancing.

In part to address this need to connect and commune, we’re kicking off our Living Light Community Events on Monday evenings 6 PM Pacific Standard Time starting on October 19th held on Zoom. We’ll have a short welcome and share as well as teaching series from teachers and writers in the community.
